Bands, a DJ, a dance instructor, food and games kept students awake this year at Dance Marathon with the theme "Don't Stop Believing". With a total of 815 people, over 88,000 dollars were raised. All money benefits Turning Point and their quest to help people who are domestically abused.
"I just asked my parents to loan me money and I donated some money I had. Other people need it more than I do. I thought it would be better if I just gave it away," junior Erin Truman said.
This year's event was at Central Middle School rather than the Commons, Feb. 23-24 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
