If you really want to lend a hand, lend an arm. That’s what the posters in the hallways say. And it’s true. Everyone can make the difference in somebody’s life, simply by donating blood.
Sponsored by the National Honor Society, the fall blood drive is coming soon. The annual drive has become a kind of tradition ah Columbus North, but this year there is a great new opportunity: for the first time ever, parents can donate at school, too. Forms are due in the Main Office Nov. 7.
“I will donate blood if I can,” senior Neil Baker said. “Donating blood helps people a lot more than donating money. My blood could save someone’s life and that means a lot more to me than donating money.”
On Nov. 9, go to Gym 2, and suggest to your parents they do the same. You can choose the best time for you between 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. to make a difference by donating blood
